Project partners from academia, industry, and clinical practice met to align on their mission to optimize mechanical ventilation for ICU patients.
4th General Assembly in Dresden
The IntelliLung consortium held its 4th General Assembly at the University Hospital Dresden. Project partners from academia, industry, and clinical practice met to align on their mission to optimize mechanical ventilation for Intensive Care Unit patients. Important milestones have already been achieved and the focus is now on completing the Prospective observational multicenter study.
The annual project meeting provided an update on the project progress and the challenges ahead. The partners reported on their work package progress and the challenges they have faced over the past year. Looking ahead, the consortium is united in its mission to optimize mechanical ventilation in intensive care units.
“The challenges that lie ahead demand hard work, dedication, and the continued effort of every team member. What makes IntelliLung special is the way we openly share, discuss constructively, and strengthen our collaboration. This meeting in Dresden was inspiring – it showed how far we have come since the project began in 2022, and how committed we are to our main objective. Together, we are shaping the future of mechanical ventilation for intensive care patients,” said Dr. med. Jakob Wittenstein, Principal Investigator at University Hospital Dresden and TUD University of Technology.
