The Computational Medicine Platform of the Progress and Health Foundation (FPS) is a key part of Andalusia’s Personalized Medicine plan, providing tools to include patients’ genomic data in electronic health records. The platform aims to develop innovative algorithms and methods for analyzing genomic data, combined with high-quality software for clinical end-users. The goal is to bring complex algorithms for managing complex genomic data to clinicians in a transparent manner, ultimately promoting the adoption of innovative technologies in clinical practice. The Big Data Area of the Computational Medicine Platform supports the secondary use of Andalusian Public Healthcare data for R&D in health, clinical practice, and management through a distributed open collaboration philosophy that improves system resilience to new challenges.
